He has served as an Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army and as both the Majority and Minority Whip of the Senate, working with three Virginia Governors and United States presidents. Senator Reeves is known for his efficiency in writing and passing legislation, network of relationships with legislators across the nation, and ability to resolve complex issues. He has opened doors for a broad range corporations, governments, and families in energy, gaming, manufacturing, and military contracting. He is a graduate of Harvard University, George Mason University, Texas A&M University, the U.S. Army War College, and the University of Virginia.
